It’s our 20th Anniversary!
September 20, 2024
Please help us to celebrate our 20th Anniversary this September!
Time flies when you love what you do and we love sourcing and curating beautiful pieces for your home, cabin, cottage and office.
Richard (Dick) Beer founded our company as Consignment Canada in 2004.
The business was started as Consignment Canada and run out of two storage lockers, local newspaper ads and Dick and Angela’s home in West Vancouver. As we got busier and busier, we found 171 Pemberton Ave and then added 173 Pemberton Ave and it’s been our showroom ever since.
Dick was current owner, Angela’s husband of 40 years, current owner, Tina’s Dad and past owner, Jonny’s Dad.
Over the past 20 years there have been many changes and upheavals such as two re-brandings, our office dogs, Nate (English Setter, Giotto (Italian Spinone) and Pepper (Pembroke Corgi) Dick’s passing in 2009 after a short battle with cancer, the pandemic, film industry strikes and recession. We have always persevered due to the incredible support of our wonderful and loyal customers and consignors, some of who have been with us since the beginning and many we now call friends.
Keeping our prices competitive, our selection fresh and ever evolving allows us to be a place that everyone can be welcome at. We’ve seen many styles and trends come and go but our selection and quality has continued to grow over the years to be a beautiful mix of furniture, antiques, artwork, rugs, accessories, jewelry and more.
We could not have achieve this success without our incredible team. Carly, our store manager has been with us over 14 years, Catherine our retail maven has been with us over 10 as has Michael and James has been with us over 3 years but used to work work with Angela for years at West Vancouver Florist. We are grateful for their hard work, loyalty and for making our showroom feel like home.
Thank you again to all of our Consignors, Customers and our Team. We would not have achieved this success without you all.
